Our History
Donyi Polo Vidya Bhawan was founded on November 14, 1981 (Children's Day) under the benevolent guidance of the Donyi Polo Mission.
The school was envisioned by the 3rd Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Gegong Apang, who recognized that local children deserved world-class educational infrastructure within their home state.
What started as a modest experiment with three students and a single teacher has grown over 43 spectacular years into a premier educational landmark in Northeast India.
